Well it’s been a minute and so much has happened…. Where to start. I feel like a new introduction is in order there has been so much change happen in my life, I haven’t deleted any old posts, but…. Well let me introduce myself.
My name is Angela. I live a full life, currently juggling four jobs and am on the other side of some major life challenges and changes. My life is good, in fact it’s better than good, it’s amazing!
I understand we have all faced some large life altering experiences these past three years. There has been trauma, pivoting, pressure, the need for self reflection and reassessing what we do, how we do it and who we have in our world while we do it. There has been a crisis on an international scale like we have never seen, intertwined with domestic natural disasters on our back door steps, into a financial spiral and on top of that our households have had their day to day challenges and life circumstances we all have to face.
I myself on the back of lockdowns and Covid did two rounds of unsuccessful IVF and was about to foster a new born bubba when I found out my husband had made choices that destroyed my marriage. I was broken in ways I didn’t know was possible. So I have spent the past months embarking on a journey of healing, creating a new life, making new memories, learning to live in the tension of joy and grief and pressing into my relationship with God even deeper than I had before.
I found Jesus never changed, He was my rock, my comfort and so much more. In the darkest moments, He shone light and led me through. As I sat and cried, He sent comfort and support, He used others to love me. When I was tired, He gave me strength.
If you are facing challenges, don’t do it alone. Look to your community, or create community. Look to God, seek Him, the Bible says ‘seek and you will find’. He is waiting to be all that He was to me, for you.
I am excited and hopeful for my new future and plan to share some of it here. Follow if you want to hear more.
